Dominykas Vizbaras
CEO

Dominykas Vizbaras is a co-founder of Brolis Semiconductors Ltd. and serves as the company’s CEO. He has previously worked in the businesses of maritime technology and timber production and trade. In the period 2001-2003, he was project manager at Klaipeda Ship Repairs Ltd., then, in 2004-2007, production and sales director at GKF Ltd (a sawmill and a timber trading company) and, in 2007, founded his own timber production and trading company Brolis Timber Ltd., serving its CEO until 2011. Dominykas holds a bachelor in transport engineering from Klaipeda University, Lithuania, and a MSc in transport and maritime management from Antwerp University, Belgium.

Kristijonas Vizbaras
CTO

Kristijonas Vizbaras is a co-founder of Brolis Semiconductors Ltd., and serves as a CTO at the company.  His field of expertise encompasses molecular beam epitaxy of III-V semiconductors, with a special focus on arsenides and antimonides, where his innovations have resulted in a number of world-record devices, such as room-temperature type-I GaSb lasers down to 3.8 µm and extremely low-resistive tunnel junctions.

Kristijonas’ educational background is BSc in EE from Vilnius University ( Lithuania), MSc in Physics from Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) and PhD studies at Technische Universität München ( Germany). He has authored and co-authored more than 25 publications in leading scientific technical journals and conference proceedings.

Kristijonas is a member of IEEE Photonics society and SPIE society.

Augustinas Vizbaras
COO

Augustinas Vizbaras is a co-founder of Brolis Semiconductors Ltd. and serves as the company’s COO.  His field of expertise encompasses the design and development of long-wavelength semiconductor lasers, with a special focus on the field of quantum cascade lasers, where he succeeded in demonstrating several world-record devices, such as 2.7 µm frequency doubled InP quantum cascade laser or extremely broadband terahertz quantum cascade laser based on difference-frequency generation.

Augustinas’ educational background is BSc in EE from Vilnius University ( Lithuania), MSc in Physics from Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) and PhD studies at Technische Universität München ( Germany). He has authored and co-authored more than 25 publications in leading scientific technical journals and conference proceedings.

Augustinas is a member of IEEE Photonics society and SPIE society.
